Eighteen months after its originally scheduled dates, INDEX 2020 will be held at PalExpo in Geneva, Switzerland this month. The event, which was originally scheduled for late March 2020 and rescheduled several times due to the Coronavirus pandemic, will take place Tuesday, October 19 through Friday, October 22. Sponsored by EDANA, the Brussels, Belgium-based European nonwovens trade association, INDEX is the year’s preeminent nonwovens exposition and is expected to attract thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors, representative of the global nonwovens supply chain. The event will begin at 9 a.m. each day and end at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and at 4 p.m. on Friday.

Over four days all the key players from around the world, from all levels of the nonwovens industry and across all application sectors, will gather together for the chance to present innovative solutions with nonwovens, seek new business opportunities, and expand their business networks.

INDEX will feature tutorials, workshops, a conference session and exhibitor product presentations. Another highlight of the show is the display of the INDEX Innovation Awards, which were presented in 2020 and recognize innovation across a number of nonwovens categories. Additionally, INDEX will feature a virtual component for exhibitors and attendees unable to make the live event.

This special section of Nonwovens Industry includes information on the trade show itself, exhibitors and the many new products and innovations scheduled to be introduced by INDEX exhibitors.
